La noticia se dio a conocer anoche a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado oficial compartido con \u2018Variety\u2019, y posteriormente anunciado a trav\u00e9s de las cuentas de redes sociales de la banda. El mundo de la m\u00fasica vuelve a estar en duelo.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el comunicado, el m\u00fasico brit\u00e1nico falleci\u00f3 el viernes 5 de septiembre en su casa de Long Island. \u201cThe Supertramp Partnership est\u00e1 muy triste de anunciar la muerte del fundador de Supertramp, Rick Davies despu\u00e9s de una larga enfermedad\u201d, dice el comunicado. \u201cTuvimos el privilegio de conocerle y tocar con \u00e9l durante m\u00e1s de cincuenta a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Davies form\u00f3 Supertramp en Londres en 1970 con Roger Hodgson, al que se unieron los miembros originales de la formaci\u00f3n Dougie Thomson, Bob Sienbenberg y John Helliwell.
